This four-part documentary follows the incredible journey of Hylke and Jur as they set out to climb the highest peak on each continent in a single year. Their mission was not just about reaching the summits but also overcoming the immense logistical, physical, and mental challenges that came with such an ambitious goal.

To bring this journey to life, we created a series of animated maps that helped visualize the vast distances, extreme conditions, and intricate routes they tackled along the way. Our work focused on two key areas:

• Global Travel Maps – Illustrating the team's movement across continents, these animations captured the scale of their adventure, giving viewers a sense of just how far and fast they had to travel.
• 3D Terrain Maps – Showcasing the topography of each climb, these animations provided essential context for the challenges ahead. They detailed the slopes, routes, camps, and critical waypoints, allowing audiences to fully grasp the magnitude of each summit attempt.

Beyond the maps, we developed a full graphics package for the four-part series, including titles, informational overlays, and on-screen visuals that enhanced the storytelling. Our design work ensured a cohesive visual language that tied together the expedition’s most pivotal moments.

This was the most complex mapping project we’ve ever taken on, and the results speak for themselves. Seeing our work fully integrated into the story has been incredibly rewarding, and we’re excited for audiences worldwide to experience this breathtaking journey.
